Bill Dorion

Bill Dorion was the President and Director of Software Solutions at Our Software Ltd from its creation in 1990 through the fall of 2003.  He successfully brought Our Software Ltd from infancy to a million dollar company with its Attendance and Scheduling components. He is highly regarded as an expert in the scheduling and time and attendance software field. He helped take the original Our Software Ltd products to new high before leaving to start this venture.

Bill is now looking at developing a new highly intuitive product that will revolutionize this niche market. Drawing on his industry acquired knowledge he sees needs and functionality not being addressed by other solutions.

Bill Dorion has 15 years experience running his own business. He has now teamed up with his son Shawn to create a new and leading edge solution in Scheduling and Personnel management.

Shawn Dorion

Shawn Dorion was the Senior Architect and Visual Designer of the Our Software Product. Shawn has now moved on to join forces with his father.

This combined team will bring together industry scheduling experience and superior application development skills setting the stage for a new and exciting product. Shawn has over 8 years experience in multi-user database and application development. Using Rapid Application Development tools and his acquired knowledge of design and development practices, he quickly and efficiently produces solutions applicable to small business needs through to large scale SQL server applications.

Bev McPhee

Bev specializes in instructional design for software applications. Her training materials, lesson plans, and visual support resources are currently used by hundreds in both private and public sector industries.

Bev recently developed comprehensive training materials and documentation for the Auto Schedule Generation and Human Resources processes from the Our Software product offering. She was able to integrate the technical framework with business process models in such a fashion that end users are able to gain a complete and clear understanding of the software's functionality -- certainly an accomplishment not paralleled by many others.

As author/editor of both digital and print media, and a popular seminar instructor, Bev is a well-known professional in her field. She holds a Master of Business Administration, and is on the associate faculty of Royal Roads University where she teaches in the Master of Arts, Applied Communication Program.

Gary Pickering

PDG & Associates Inc. can provide prompt analytical and design expertise related to all types of shift schedules. Efficient schedules have the potential to save thousands of dollars over the course of a year. With 27 years in the adult correctional field, a 24-7 business, Gary has had extensive involvement related to schedule design, implementation, and related costs.

Gary has many accomplishments. Most recently Gary had the lead in developing a Performance Outcomes System for the Ministry of Corrections Ontario. He also successfully re-negotiated compressed work week shift schedules for over 40 correctional facilities across the province of Ontario and has acted as a consultant with Corrections Canada in developing shift schedules for correctional officers. He also conducted a correctional officer post audits across the province of Ontario to determine staffing requirements.

As a valued member of the GSDC team,   Gary provides scheduling expertise to guide our clients in this most difficult of tasks.
